Since founding GOTECH in 1981, Mr. Guillaume has helped establish the firm as a trusted provider of engineering and consulting services. 1971
Academic Foundation
Earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Marquette University and a Bachelor of Arts from Xavier University, beginning a career dedicated to engineering excellence.
1971-1980
Early Career Experience
Gained valuable experience in engineering, surveying, and construction through internships in Idaho, Wyoming, and California, followed by work as a field engineer on major infrastructure projects.
Early 1970s
Louisiana Superdome
Selected as one of four engineers representing the owner during construction of the Louisiana Superdome, assisting in the oversight of civil and structural construction, including piling, concrete, and steel operations.
1981
GOTECH is Founded
Founded GOTECH, Inc. beneath a stately oak tree on Bluebonnet Boulevard in Baton Rouge with a vision of providing high-quality engineering and consulting services rooted in professionalism, technical expertise, and integrity.
2004-2011
Engineering Leadership
Served on the Louisiana Professional Engineering & Land Surveying Board, helping advance the engineering profession and support licensure throughout the state.
2008–2011
Distinguished Civic Service
Received multiple Andrew M. Lockett Awards from the Louisiana Engineering Society in recognition of outstanding civic leadership and community service.

Marquette Alumni Recognition

Lifetime Achievement Award
Received the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Lifetime Achievement Award from both the Louisiana Section and the Baton Rouge Chapter for outstanding contributions to the engineering profession.
